PDP chairman resigns

Further blow has been dealt to the PDP after the national chairman of the party tendered his resignation letter this morning. 

Muazu was said to have been fed up of the stress he had been subjected to since the party lost the presidential elections.  He says his resignation is with immediate effect and reports have also suggested that President Jonathan called for the chairman's resignation and all members of the party's board of trustees. 

My people, the way it's going seems like the People Democratic Party will dissolve anytime soon. I hope it doesn't. The party should reassemble and get back on their feet once again.
